FutureLink Posts 4th-Quarter Loss
FutureLink Corp., an Irvine computer services company, reported a loss of $13.7 million, or 38 cents a share, for the fourth quarter, compared with a loss of $1.6 million, or 51 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue rose to $8.6 million from $1.8 million.
For the year, the company lost $35.6 million, or $2.50 a share, compared with $6 million, or $1.86 a share, for the prior year. Revenue climbed to $13.6 million from $2.4 million. FutureLink Corp. also has completed its acquisition of Madison Technology Group for $57.5 million in cash, stock and notes to expand into the northeastern United States.
