Alleged Intruder and Victim Shot
Two men were shot in a home-invasion robbery in Huntington Beach late Wednesday, authorities said.
Tyson Astrich, 23, resisted when Devin Michael Cruz, 22, burst into his home in the 17220 block of Apel Lane about 10 p.m. and demanded money, investigators said Thursday.
A fight ensued, and Cruz’s 9mm gun went off several times, striking Astrich in the arm and Cruz in the foot, police Sgt. Irwin Feuerstein said.
Both were being treated at Huntington Beach Hospital for their wounds, which were not life-threatening, Feuerstein said.
