Friends Day 2000 by the Boys & Girls Club will have the board of directors visiting local residents and businesses to seek donations. Those contributing $250 will receive a photograph of a child from the activities center, while those contributing $500 will receive a piece of artwork done by a child. The Boys & Girls Club hopes to raise $25,000 in honor of its 25th year.
