Rogan and Schiff Agree to Radio Debate Next Month

Locked in one of the highest-profile congressional races in the country, Rep. James E. Rogan (R-Glendale) and state Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Burbank) have agreed to their first debate, to be held Aug. 18 on radio station KPCC-FM (89.3).
With the two candidates having received a combined $7.5 million in contributions from throughout the country, the 27th District matchup is on the verge of becoming the most expensive House race in history.
Rogan’s role as a House prosecutor in the impeachment of President Clinton has made him a major target of Democrats who want to unseat him in November, while Republican voters have rallied behind the incumbent.
The highly anticipated debate will be broadcast live on the Pasadena radio station beginning at 9 a.m.
