The Ruff Ryders’ ‘Ryde’ Gallops to Debut at No. 3

The Ruff Ryders registered strongly on both the national and Southern California charts with their second album. The rap collective, which features DMX among other stars, debuted at No. 3 locally, and one spot higher nationwide. No Doubt, meanwhile, is enjoying its favorite-son status, reentering the regional Top 10 while remaining at the mid-century mark nationally.
