Mayor Bev Perry will host “Meet the Mayor†at the Brea Farmers Market on July 11. It’s an opportunity for residents and workers to share their ideas and worries about the city, she said.
She also plans to introduce a new Farmer’s Market “Frequent Shopper Card†that patrons can use to get a gift after making five purchases on separate dates.
The Brea Farmers Market is held from 3 to 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the Birch Street Promenade. The open-air market features fresh produce, snacks and gifts. Information: (714) 990-7137.
