SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
The City Council on Tuesday will vote on a resolution supporting Prop. 12, a state measure that seeks to fund safe neighborhood parks, clean air and water and coastal protection. “It provides a substantial funding source above and beyond limited funding resources for parks and open space improvements,†said Al King, the city’s community services director. He hopes the council support will encourage residents to vote for the measure in the March 7 election. The $2.1-billion proposition would provide the city with up to $380,000 for capital improvements. The council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at 32400 Paseo Adelanto.
