Esperanza’s Murray Picks Pennsylvania

Ryan Murray of Esperanza High, the leading receiver in Orange County last season, has committed to Pennsylvania, Esperanza Coach Gary Meek said.

Murray had 66 receptions for 1,129 yards in 11 games and was a Times Orange County first-team selection.

The Orange County Waves, formerly the Zodiac, will have open tryouts Tuesday and Thursday at Centennial Park/Dan Young Soccer Complex, 3000 W. Edinger in Santa Ana. There will be two training sessions per day, at 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
