Girl, 6, Dies in Her Aliso Viejo Home
A 6-year-old Aliso Viejo girl died at home Monday of undetermined causes, authorities said.
Alexandra L’Heureux was found by her mother, who took her to Saddleback Memorial Medical Center in Laguna Hills, officials said. The girl was pronounced dead at 5:05 p.m., said Jaque Berndt, chief deputy for the Orange County Coroner.
An autopsy performed Tuesday found no cause of death and no signs of trauma, Berndt said.
The girl was a student at Oak Grove Elementary School, where the mood was somber Tuesday as classmates learned of Alexandra’s death. Gerri Gordon, director of guidance for Capistrano Unified School District, said she and another counselor met with some of the students.
“There will be people on call for the rest of the week,†she said.
