A Planning Commission meeting scheduled for tonight has been postponed until next Tuesday.
On the agenda was a public hearing concerning Knott’s Berry Farm’s plans for a water park, Soak City, and the certification of the environmental impact report that had been prepared several months earlier.
“We have listened to the neighbors and have made modifications to their concerns,†Knott’s Berry Farm General Manager Jack Falfas said Tuesday.
According to Rick Warsinski, director of the city’s Community Development Department, resident concerns regarding traffic, noise and aesthetics have prompted the amusement park to change its original plans and move some of the attractions away from an area where there are homes. Instead, trees will be planted there, he said.
