Harbor District Wins Top Chamber Honor
The Oxnard Harbor District has been named 1999 Business of the Year by the Greater Oxnard Chamber of Commerce.
The harbor district is an independent special district that owns and operates the commercial Port of Hueneme. Port operations generate an estimated $300 million in local economy and approximately 2,700 jobs countywide each year.
The harbor district commissioners are Jesse Ramirez, president; Raymond Fosse, vice president; Michael Plisky, secretary; William Hill; and Jess Herrera.
The executive director is William Buenger.
