Montgomery helped the Matadors set a school record for victories in a single season (22), tallying 37 points, 13 rebounds
and six steals in an 88-75 victory over Newbury Park in the first round of the Southern Section Division II-A playoffs. “He did everything but sing the national anthem,” Bolsa Grande Coach Mike Anderson said. Montgomery is averaging 18 points, seven rebounds and four steals.

Scored four goals to help the Knights defeat El Centro Southwest, 6-0, in the first round of the Division III playoffs.

Won his fourth consecutive Division I individual title by defeating Arroyo’s Luis Fragoso by technical fall, 16-1.
Megan Aaker
Laguna Hills, Basketball
The sophomore point guard averaged 26 points in two playoff victories for the Hawks. Aaker,
who is averaging
fewer than two turnovers per game,
scored 30 points--13 above her season average--in the first round of the Division II-A playoffs, helping Laguna Hills defeat Magnolia, 64-51. In the second round, Aaker had 22 points, including four three-pointers, in a 64-36 victory over Hacienda Heights Wilson.

Corona del Mar, Water Polo
Scored six goals in two Division IV playoff victories to help the Sea Kings advance to the quarterfinals.

Marina, Soccer
Scored three goals and had two assists in two Division I playoff games as Marina advanced to second round.
