USC Is 80-68 Winner Over No. 15 Arizona

Tashara Carter scored 14 points and Carmen Krause had 10 off the bench for USC in an 80-68 victory over No. 15 Arizona in front of 534 at the Sports Arena Thursday night.
USC, 10-11 overall and 5-6 in the Pacific 10, took a 35-20 lead at halftime and scored 31 of the first 44 points of the second half.
Arizona (20-4, 9-3) pulled within five points midway through the second half, but turnovers kept it from getting closer. The Wildcats had 24 turnovers and fell into a tie for first place in the conference with Oregon.
USC had five players score in double figures for the first time this season as Carter and Krause were joined by Tiffany Elmore (11 points), Tiffany Washington (10) and Danielle Golay (10)..
