The average price of gasoline in Southern California rose this month, increasing 4.4 cents to $1.429 for a gallon of self-serve regular unleaded, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California. The club’s monthly Fuel Gauge Report, released Tuesday, is based on a survey of 2,800 gas stations.
