The Police Department will purchase American flag decals to put on all the department’s cars and lapel pins for all the officers to wear.
“It’s always great if we can pay tribute to our national symbol of freedom,” Chief Elvin G. Miali said. “We’re always proud to wave the flag.”
The idea for the flag decals and pins stems from Mayor Guy Carrozzo’s commitment to honoring the nation’s veterans this year.
