SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
The Planning Commission, at its meeting Tuesday night, conditionally approved a project for the vacant shopping center behind Del Obispo Plaza.
The contractors will begin work on improving the center for an indefinite open date at least several months away.
Dunn Edwards Paint has signed an agreement with the owner, PRCC Capistrano of Newport Beach, to be a major tenant in the center at 31894 and 31896 Plaza Drive.
The commission rejected a proposed archway for the entrance to the center and sent the matter back to city staff for further study.
