The City Council voted in favor of submitting a letter to the county in response to how the proposed El Toro Airport might affect the city environmentally.
Flights at John Wayne Airport could decline by 25%, and El Toro’s new northbound takeoff and landing pattern would intersect with the East Orange General Plan where there are 200 acres of master-planned residential land.
