ANAHEIM
Council members Tuesday approved a day off for all city employees who complete a program that includes attending seminars on health topics, exercise and preventive care, and participating in community service. In 1999, more than 1,000 city employees participated in the program, with 402 earning a day off. The council’s approval gives employees the option to participate in the program on an ongoing basis.
