Two men were being held Monday on suspicion of drug offenses after Santa Ana police officers found 55 pounds of marijuana in their pickup truck.
During a traffic stop shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of North Olive Street, officers found that Edgar Rodriguez, 28, did not have a driver’s license.
Officers impounded the truck and found the marijuana, with an estimated street value of $60,000, as they were taking the routine inventory, said police Sgt. Raul Luna.
Rodriguez and his passenger, Miguel Navarro, 21, were arrested on suspicion of transporting and possessing marijuana with intent to sell.
