Marines Identify Man Killed in Crash
The Marine Corps on Wednesday released the name of the serviceman killed Tuesday when a military truck overturned near a firing range at Camp Pendleton.
Sgt. Daniel V. Enriquez, 25, of San Diego was killed about 7:30 a.m. when the truck carrying him and three other Marine instructors rolled off a dirt road into a ditch.
Sgt. Cesar Delgado and Cpl. Cristo Gomez were treated at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo. Gomez, who had a head injury, was released Tuesday. A fourth Marine was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
