ORANGE
The Orange Unified School District and Orange Unified Education Assn. began teacher contract talks Monday afternoon, and the negotiating teams will continue meeting today and Tuesday. The union and district have not met since the bargaining teams reached an impasse May 24. Teachers have been working without a contract since March 1998.
