Trabuco Wins at North Salinas
James Webster had 14 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists for Trabuco Hills, which defeated Salinas Alisal, 72-63, to win the North Salinas tournament.
Ian Wright had 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Mustangs (10-5), who led, 35-34, at the half. An 11-0 run late in the third quarter clinched the victory.
In the Brea Olinda tournament:
Brea Olinda 72, Claremont 71 (OT)--Ryan Moore made one of two free throws with 10 seconds remaining in overtime for host Brea Olinda (8-6) in the third-place game.
Ryan Moore, who finished with 23 points and 12 assists, connected on a three-pointer from the top of the key with 15 seconds left in overtime to tie the score. Landon Lewis scored 20 points, including six three-pointers, four in the fourth quarter, to help Brea Olinda stave off a Claremont comeback.
In the Marin County Don Bambauer tournament:
Servite 57, Sacramento River City 36--Billy Burfeind had 18 points, 10 in the third quarter, as Servite (7-8) won a consolation game.
In the Long Beach St. Anthony tournament:
Los Angeles 66, St. Margaret’s 55--Crandall Kermott and Kevin Krouse each scored 13 points for St. Margaret’s (8-6), which was outscored, 27-8, in the third quarter.
