‘The Politics of Hollywood’ Is Focus of Lecture at USC

Actors Ron Silver and Sharon Lawrence will join New York Times correspondent Bernard Weinraub and Center for the Study of Popular Culture President David Horowitz in “The Politics of Hollywood: Inclusion and Beyond,” the first in a four-lecture series on the impact of entertainment.
The lecture, on Monday from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Wyndham Bel Age Hotel in West Hollywood, is sponsored by the Anti-Defamation League and USC Annenberg’s Norman Lear Center.
Future lectures include “The Power of Hip-Hop” on Jan. 22, “Arts & Ideas” on Feb. 26 and “Media and Morality” on March 19. Tickets are $29 per lecture, or $100 for the series.
