Plan Ahead: Next Weekend
* Music. Los Angeles Opera opens its 15th season with its long-anticipated production of Verdi’s “Aida,†conducted by company artistic director Placido Domingo, and with Deborah Voigt, Nina Terentieva, Johan Boths and Simon Estes in the leading roles. The opening is Wednesday, with eight more performances, through Sept. 28.
