The former Palm Springs estate of the late Jack Benny and his wife, Mary Livingston, has been listed at about $2 million. Built for Tom and Anita May of the May Co. in 1952, the home was sold to the Bennys in 1964. They used it as their winter home until 1970.

A mid-century, modern-style home, the house has post-and-beam construction, floor-to-ceiling glass walls, vaulted exposed-wood ceilings and a lot of stone and wood. The house was updated in 1995.

There is a main house and two guest houses with a total of seven bedrooms in 5,700 square feet. The buildings share a common roof with patios and breezeways between them. The home also has a tennis court, pool and spa.

Andy Linsky, who has owned the home for five years, has the listing at Prudential California Realty, Palm Springs. He is selling because he plans to buy a property where he can build a home with valley and mountain views.
