Capstone Receives Energy Department Research Grant

Capstone Turbine Co. in Chatsworth has been awarded a $10-million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to research and develop energy efficiency and cost objectives for micro-turbine gas engines. Micro-turbines are designed for on-site power production. The research is expected to help reduce pollution and greenhouse gases and provide low-cost electricity.
