LA PALMA
The City Council recently authorized the replacement of an 18-year-old boom truck with an aerial lift. The city’s truck, a 1982 Ford with 139,000 miles, is used to install street banners, holiday decorations and aid in emergency tree trimming. A new truck is estimated to cost $52,000.
