Tickets Available for Opera Singers Finals
Tickets to the finals concert of the National Vocal Competition for Young Opera Singers, sponsored by the Loren L. Zachary Society, are now available. The concert takes place May 21 at 2 p.m. in the Wilshire-Ebell Theatre, 4401 W. 8th St.; tickets are free,but reserved tickets are required.
To order tickets, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Zachary Finals Concert, Department NR, 2250 Gloaming Way, Beverly Hills, CA 90210.
Ten finalists will compete for cash prizes totaling more than $35,000 at the concert; they will be accompanied by the Los Angeles Performing Arts Orchestra conducted by William Vendice.
