Construction of the $9-million Kayne-Eras Center, an educational and recreational facility serving at-risk youths in Culver City, has been completed.
The 38,500-square-foot facility at Jefferson and Sepulveda Boulevards was built by Tishman Construction Corp. The nine-acre campus includes a multipurpose room, classrooms, wood-working shop, science lab, counseling facilities, cafeteria, gym, offices, an outdoor play area and parking for more than 100 vehicles.
The new, larger home will allow the 20-year-old center to accommodate twice as many students as it did in its previous facility. The Kayne-Eras Center serves youths with learning disabilities and developmental problems.
