Tax Day: Extended Postal Hours

Due to April 15 falling on a Saturday, the latest date to mail your Federal taxes will be Monday, April 17. Some post offices will stay open late for procrastinators.

SATURDAY

For last-minute help: IRS employees will help taxpayers fill out “simple” federal, state returns

* Dana Point Harbor, 34521 Street of the Golden Lantern. 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday

MONDAY

* Newport Beach, 1133 Camelback St., window and drop-off open until 7 p.m.

* Santa Ana, 3101 W. Sunflower Ave., window open until 8 p.m., drop-off open until midnight

* Santa Ana, 2201 N. Grand Ave., window open until 8 p.m., drop-off open until midnight

* Anaheim, 5335 E. La Palma Ave., drop-off open until midnight, no window service
