Playwriting Event Seeks Submissions

Members of the public are invited to write a 15-minute play for the 14th annual Playwrights’ Express 2000 fund-raising event. The benefit will take place April 29-30 and May 6-7, from noon to 10 p.m. each day, at the nonprofit First Stage Theatre in Hollywood.

The deadline for submissions is April 24. The plays can be on any subject. Excerpts are accepted, but all work must be original. For further guidelines, call (323) 850-6271.
