Former owner Peter O’Malley returned to Dodger Stadium on Wednesday for the first time since opening day to console President Bob Graziano, who was fired Tuesday.
Rick Welts, president of Fox Sports Enterprises, hopes to select a successor within the next month.
“I have half a dozen people who I think are excellent candidates for this job,†Welts said. “They come from a wide range of sports and a wide range of backgrounds.
“My problem right now is logistics. No one I’m talking to at this point is not under contract. I want to move as fast as I can and I’d be very disappointed if we’re having this conversation two months from now.â€
