Moreno Valley Valley View 33, Trabuco 10--Trabuco Hills was hurt by seven turnovers at Valley View.
The Mustangs gave up 10 points off turnovers and fell behind 17-0 in the first quarter.
A 35-yard kickoff return by Trevor Heaney and a pass interference call set up the Mustangs’ first score, a five-yard drive by Eric Rapley.
A 41-yard field goal by Jay Arntson at the end of the half made it 17-10, but that was Trabuco Hills’ last score.
After gaining only three first downs in the first half, the roof caved in on the Mustangs. Quarterbacks Young Hsu and John Baggerly combined for three second-half interceptions. The Eagles returned two for touchdowns.
