Long Beach Wilson will attempt to win its fourth consecutive Southern Section championship behind senior Tony Azevedo, the top high school player in the nation who is playing for the U.S. national team and won’t rejoin the Bruins’ lineup until October.

Wilson was 29-0 last season.

Other defending division champions are Anaheim Servite in Division II; Bell Gardens (III), Santa Maria Righetti (IV); Riverside Arlington (V); and Rowland Heights Rowland (VI).
