OUTLOOK
This will be Fairmont’s first football team, with Caffrey once again taking the reins trying to build a small-school program. After 23 years at Whittier Christian, he moved to Heritage Christian, but left last season after a drop in enrollment forced the school back to an eight-man game. Caffrey has a career record of 200-83, six Southern Section titles and 14 league championships. With no playing experience, it should be a long season for the Huskies, who will play in Division XIII as a freelance team.
