Birch Financial Buys Westcorp Plaza Building

Birch Financial LLC has bought Westcorp Plaza, a three-story office building in Irvine, for $8.9 million. The Newport Beach-based accounting firm will move its main office to the 51,000-square-foot building in January, occupying 50% of the space. The other half of the building will be leased.
The building, in the 16000 block of Laguna Canyon Road, was sold by Western Financial Bank, which is moving to a larger structure nearby.
