Fountain Valley’s offense is averaging only 13 points, but its defense has been good enough to provide the Barons with a couple victories over a couple pretty good teams--7-6 over Dana Hills and 16-7 over La Mirada. Servite is averaging 23 points and has a couple impressive victories of its own--25-19 over Tustin and 14-3 over Esperanza. Each team features a bruising running game. Teaming with Nedal Abdelmuti for Fountain Valley is Steven Fifita, who is averaging six yards per carry. Chad Bystedt does most of the work for Servite, but the Friars also turn to Frank Magdaleno, who averages 4.5 yards per carry.
