SMTEK Sells N. Ireland Circuit Board Operation
SMTEK International in Thousand Oaks has sold its Northern Ireland printed circuit board operation, Irlandus Circuits Ltd., to a local group for approximately $4.5 million.
The gain on the sale was not material, officials said.
The company said the sale represented the divestiture of the last printed circuit board operation from the former DDL Electronics and will enable the company to focus on its core electronics manufacturing services.
SMTEK serves original equipment manufacturers in the computer, telecommunications, instrumentation, medical, industrial and aerospace industries.
