They Need to Ask T.J. Their Burning Questions
- Share via
I read T.J. Simers’ Nov. 15 column regarding the Raider game Sunday. I sure would like to know what the devil you’re smoking! Los Angeles is motivating the Raiders? The next stop for the Raiders is L.A.? Read my written lips, L.A. does not want, does not need the Raiders. Once was enough. L.A. is a mix of every city in the country. We need a team that is born here, a team that we can call our own. P.T. Barnum said there’s a sucker born every minute. We’ve had our minute with Al Davis.

What is it with these Times readers who can’t handle T.J. Simers’ sarcastic, often all-too-true takes on the mediocre teams and players in the NFL?
I find myself laughing out loud as T.J. takes potshots at these overpaid, over-hyped athletes who are fair game under the media spotlight.
After all, it’s only a game and Simers’ entertaining column is something I look forward to each football season.

T.J. Simers must really believe that this is a mediocre NFL season [“Few Make Grade in Mediocre Season,” Nov. 13] because he predicts that, in the final 112 games of the season, NFL teams as a whole will win only 102 games, while losing 122.
