THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Tuesday:

ANAHEIM

* East La Palma Avenue: An assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 5800 block at 10:40 p.m. Monday.

* East Santa Ana Canyon Road: A noninjury traffic accident was reported in the 5000 block at 10:07 p.m. Monday.

* Peralta Hills Drive: A trespass was reported at 6:56 p.m. Monday.

* East Coronado Street: A grand theft was reported in the 3800 block at 4:24 p.m. Friday.

BREA

* East Avocado Street: A petty theft was reported in the 800 block at 5:40 p.m. Sunday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Magnolia Street: About $2,200 in property was stolen from a pharmacy in the 17100 block at 9:01 a.m. Sunday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Grunion Lane: A neighbor stole a woman’s water bottle in the 16500 block at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Peralta Drive: A 1965 Plymouth Fury was reported stolen from a business parking lot in the 23300 block between 10 a.m. Oct. 31 and 10 a.m. Friday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Forbes Road: A woman in the 27600 block reported at 10:55 a.m. Thursday that the rear door of her business was pried open overnight. Nothing was reported missing.

* Pacific Island Drive: A male driver of a vehicle reportedly tried to hit an 11-year-old girl in a parking lot in the 30200 block at 9:05 p.m. Nov. 3. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and said her 19-year-old daughter uses the vehicle, but was not at home.

* Ivy Glenn Lane: A grand theft was reported in the 28700 block at 1:45 p.m. Oct. 2. A man reported that while he was out of town someone entered his unsecured house that was undergoing construction and stole $24,000 worth of miscellaneous items.

LAGUNA WOODS

* Paseo de Valencia: A man tried to leave a store in the 24100 block with a pair of sunglasses without paying for them at 11:20 a.m. Nov. 3. An hour later, another man was caught at the same store trying to steal six wristwatches.

* Avenida Castilla: A cell phone was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block at 9:35 a.m. Nov. 3.

PLACENTIA

* Avon Place: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 1200 block at 8:06 p.m. Monday.

* Doverfield Drive: A burglary was reported in the 200 block at 10:57 a.m. Monday.

* East Yorba Linda Boulevard: A burglary was reported in the 100 block at 10:39 a.m. Monday.

* Chapman and Placentia avenues: A felony hit and run was reported at 8:19 a.m. Monday.

* North Angelina Avenue: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 100 block at 7:55 a.m. Monday.

TUSTIN

* West 1st Street: A burglar alarm was triggered in the 600 block at 2:51 a.m. Saturday.

* East 1st Street: Report of a hit-and-run car accident in the 100 block at 8:03 p.m. Saturday. There were no injuries.

* El Camino Real and Jamboree Road: Report of a car accident at 7:43 p.m. Saturday. No one was injured.

YORBA LINDA

* Imperial Highway and Valley View Avenue: A noninjury traffic accident was reported at 5:38 p.m. Sunday.

* Bastanchury Road and Casa Loma Avenue: A noninjury traffic accident was reported at 11:07 a.m. Sunday.

* Shady Lane Drive: A petty theft was reported in the 6000 block at 9:14 a.m. Thursday.

* Manzanita Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 20000 block at 2:19 p.m. Thursday.

OTHER COMMUNITIES

ALISO VIEJO

* Aliso Creek Road: About $6,800 worth of carpet cleaning equipment was reported stolen from a 1998 GMC van in the 26700 block at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday.

* Moulton Parkway: A woman reported that a man in his 30s was walking nude, carrying his clothes, in a gully behind some businesses in the 25500 block at 4 p.m. Oct. 2. Deputies could not locate the man after the report.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Tuesday: Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Irvine, Laguna Beach, La Habra, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Orange, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Villa Park and Westminster.
