Clinton Pledges to Veto Education Bill

President Clinton once again vowed to veto legislation passed by the Republican-led House that he said would reverse the nation’s commitment to reducing class size and improving education. Speaking to reporters departing on a trip to Norway, Clinton lauded a new report that showed that his class size reduction initiative had already brought more teachers into the classrooms and increased training for those already there.
