The Coast Guard suspended its search Saturday morning for the three people who went down in a helicopter crash in the ocean early Friday off the coast of Huntington Beach.

Coast Guard Petty Officer Kerry Kingery said the chances of finding survivors from the crash were slim. Divers with the National Transportation Safety Board will continue later to search for the crash victims and debris.

The helicopter, owned by Southern California Edison, took off Friday morning from an Edison facility in Irvine on a flight to Santa Catalina Island, where the two passengers were to attend a business meeting. The third crash victim was the pilot. The names of the victims have not been released.
