Brinderson Acquires Cypress-Based Company

Brinderson, a Newport Beach-based heavy construction company, said it acquired controlling interest in Hilbert & Associates, an engineering and construction firm headquartered in Cypress. Terms of the private deal were not disclosed.
The purchase will enable Brinderson to offer clients in-house engineering and design services, said Chief Executive Officer Gary L. Brinderson. Tim Ferguson, Brinderson’s vice president of engineering, has joined Hilbert & Associates and is responsible for all engineering.
