Podollan’s Three Goals Help Ice Dogs Roll, 7-1

Jason Podollan had three goals and Pavel Rosa added two and the Ice Dogs defeated the Utah Grizzlies, 7-1, in an International Hockey League game Tuesday night at at West Valley City, Utah.
Dan Bylsma and Patrice Lefebvre also scored for Long Beach (45-25-4), which remained in second place in the Western Conference’s Southwest Division.
Ryan Bach stopped 24 of 25 shots for Long Beach. Mike Hough had the goal for Utah, which came with Long Beach ahead, 7-0.
