ANAHEIM

Anaheim Union School District officials will meet tonight to discuss new entrance requirements and school policies at Oxford Academy, the district’s only college-prep school. Officials are considering whether to bump up grade-point-average requirements needed to pass to the next grade level at the school composed of 400 seventh- and eight-grade students. Officials want students to maintain at least a 3.0 GPA or a B-average, as opposed to the current 2.5 GPA standard. They also are considering plans to add music and athletic departments. The meeting is at 7 p.m. in the Cook Auditorium at Anaheim High School, 811 W. Lincoln Ave. Information: (714) 999-3511.
