Oscar Bleachers to Open 7 a.m. Sunday
Bleacher seats outside the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the venue for the 71st Annual Academy Awards, will open to the public at 7 a.m. on Sunday.
No tickets are required and seating will be first-come, first-served until the available seats are filled.
Once in the bleachers, guests will not be permitted to leave and reenter except to use the toilet facilities, which will be within the secured area.
Arrival of the nominees, presenters and others attending the Academy Awards are expected between 3 and 5:30 p.m.
Guests are advised to bring their own water and a sack lunch. Amateur cameras are allowed but all items will be searched by security.
Alcoholic beverages, signs, banners and posters will not be allowed; neither will stereos, radios and other audio devices that are likely to be disruptive.
