Kellee Booth of Coto de Caza advanced to the final of the Women’s Western Golf Assn. National Amateur Championship with a 1-up victory over Australia’s Tamie Durdin Saturday in Fishers, Ind.
Booth, who will play Hilary Homeyer of Edina, Minn. in the final, was tied with Durdin going into the final hole, but Durdin three-putted to give Booth the victory.
Homeyer defeated Fountain Valley’s Candie Kung, 3 and 2. Kung was 1-down at the turn and could not recover after Homeyer birdied No. 13 to take a two-shot lead.
