Easyriders Hires Some PR Help
Easyriders Inc., of Agoura Hills, struggling to raise its share price, has hired a public relations firm with a history of working with motorcycle companies. BSMG Worldwide, which also represents Harley Davidson Inc., has been retained by Easyriders, which publishes 11 biker and tattoo magazines, owns a barbecue restaurant chain and franchises motorcycle apparel outlets. The stock has lost almost 75% of its value since it went public last September, closing unchanged at $1.31 on the American Stock Exchange. CEO John Martin told stockholders at the company’s annual meeting that focus groups and other consumer research would be used to guide content of the company’s signature magazine, Easyriders.
