School District Names New Superintendent
HACIENDA HEIGHTS — Norm Kirschenbaum, an East Los Angeles native who has been an educator for the last 36 years has been named superintendent of the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District.
Kirschenbaum, 58, began his career as a teacher at Montebello’s Bella Vista Elementary in 1963, said school board President Norma Hsu. He rose through the ranks and was appointed superintendent of the Montebello Unified School District in 1995.
