BREA
Residents are invited to attend a meeting Wednesday to discuss their concerns about a proposal to build 1,400 houses, an 18-hole golf course and a 300-room hotel on 823 acres near Brea Olinda High School.
The plans for the Brea Highlands development, still in the preliminary stages, include two public parks and a 10-acre commercial center.
The city will hear from residents from 2 to 4 p.m. and again from 7 to 9 p.m. in Community Room B of the Civic & Cultural Center, 1 Civic Center Circle.
